How can I access UpToDate / Up To Date?

Answer

Our contract restricts access to medical students only; faculty and staff do not have access through Brown University. The link may be found on the library's Databases A-Z list or on these subject guides:

https://libguides.brown.edu/health

Brown University Library offers other point-of-care tools for our clinical faculty, residents, and fellows. A selection of the most popular is linked on our clinical resources guide. They include:

DynaMedex: a clinician-focused tool providing evidence-based answers at the point of care, merging the expert clinical summaries of DynaMed with the drug information of Micromedex.
Isabel: a differential diagnosis and decision support tool which integrates with DynaMedex.
ClinicalKey: includes clinical overviews and drug information.
Clinical Pharmacology: also from ClinicalKey, but with more in-depth drug information.

ClinicalKeyAccessMedicine, and the AccessMedical Suite specialty collections also offer extensive access to essential textbooks, multimedia, and more.
Please contact HealthSciLibrarians@Brown.edu for additional information.
