What do I do if I need a book that's checked out to someone else?
Answer
If you are a Brown student, professor, or staff member, you can use our easyBorrow system to request books from other libraries. You don't need to know what library owns the book, and there is no charge for the service. Simply use the easyBorrow link, located in the BruKnow record, to find and request what you need. You can also use easyBorrow to obtain books that Brown does not own. There may be a record for the title in BruKnow or you can conduct a search by clicking on the Worldcat link on the library homepage (in the Library Resources box). For more details, please see our Borrowing information page.
If you are working away from Providence, contact your subject librarian or Rock@Brown.edu for further assistance.
