I'm a student at a HELIN institution ( CCRI, URI, Salve Regina, Wheaton, Johnson & Wales, PC, RIC, Roger Williams). Can I use your library?
Answer
Brown is no longer a member of HELIN. However, we still have agreements with member libraries. More information may be found at our Brown University and HELIN Libraries page.
Our visitor policies are evolving. At this time,
- Researchers external to Brown, including researchers affiliated with Brown academic departments, may request an appointment to view materials at the Rockefeller and Orwig Music libraries by emailing rock@brown.edu, and at the John Hay Library by making an appointment through Aeon. Email hay@brown.edu with any questions about appointments at the Hay. Researchers must confirm their appointments upon arrival.
- Visitors can sign in to view exhibits at the John Hay Library on certain days and times. See Visiting the John Hay Library for details.
- Consortial partners will soon be able to request appointments to visit the Rockefeller and Sciences libraries through a new visitor system. Email questions about access for consortial partners to rock@brown.edu.
